CT Technologist

The Computed Tomography Technologist reports to the manager of CT and director of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols. Patient populations range from newborns through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician. Will work Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Participation in on-call rotation among staff members from Monday to Thursday is required. On-call responsibilities typically include coverage from 5 PM to 6 AM. Call may occur if there are last-minute staff shortages or an influx of trauma cases. Call shifts will occur approximately every 4 to 5 weeks. First-time travelers are accepted. Must have completed clinical rotation or graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Candidates without an active South Carolina license will not be considered. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the traveler's agency. During the hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers need to complete compliance requirements within specified timeframes.

Minimum 1 year experience License: South Carolina Clienttion License required at the time of start Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT) required Must-Have: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT). Must be able to start IVs, administer contrast, perform biopsies, and utilize PACS system.
