Location & Relocation Assistance

This position is based at our McLean, VA location. We are excited to welcome candidates from both the local area and those considering a move to Northern Virginia. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates and will be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Support the full surgical experience: pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care 

• Prepare instruments, equipment, and the operating room for procedures 

• Assist the physician during procedures as needed 

• Verify correct patient, procedure, and surgical site in the OR 

• Ensure all medications and solutions (including tumescent) are clearly and properly labeled 

• Maintain a sterile environment and clean/disinfect surgical instruments and rooms 

• Educate patients and caregivers on procedures, medications, and discharge instructions 

• Support patient discharge and return post-op calls 

• Schedule follow-up appointments and audit patient records 

Required Skills & Qualifications:  

• Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and instrument trays 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and labeling standards 

• Proficient in written and verbal communication, including basic report writing 

• Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel 

• Able to interpret written, diagram, and verbal instructions 

• Basic math proficiency 

• Experience in patient care and working with physicians and caregivers 

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 

• Regular use of computer, phone, and other office equipment 

• Lift and move up to 25 lbs. as needed 

• Good vision and hearing to interact safely and effectively in a surgical setting

Compensation Range

$26—$33.50 USD

Pay may vary by location, and actual compensation depends on factors like qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs. Sono Bello may adjust this range in the future. Full-time employees may also receive benefits such as incentives, equity, health coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.

Benefits Package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K, EAP, PTO, and Paid Holidays. ( Benefits eligibility may vary based on employment status.)
