Solar Technician

We are seeking a Solar O&M Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar PV systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience and strong knowledge of rooftop and commercial solar systems. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on C&I rooftop solar PV systems. Troubleshoot central and string inverters, including identifying and resolving system faults. Inspect and maintain DC/AC wiring, combiner boxes, disconnects, panels, and other electrical equipment. Diagnose issues affecting system performance and energy production. Perform electrical testing using multimeters, megohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical drawings, and equipment manuals. Support commissioning, system startups, and equipment replacements as needed. Document maintenance activities, troubleshooting findings, and completed repairs. Coordinate with customers, site personnel, contractors, and O&M management. Follow NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety requirements. Travel to commercial solar sites as required. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in C&I Solar O&M, solar installation, or electrical maintenance. Hands-on experience with commercial rooftop PV systems and inverters. Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Experience with DC and AC electrical systems. Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams. Valid driver's license and good driving record. OSHA 30 and/or NFPA 70E certification preferred. Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and on commercial rooftops.
