Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow SOMT Developer to support the design, development, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow Sales and Order Management for Telecommunications (SOMT) solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building telecommunications order management, product catalog, quote-to-cash, fulfilment, and service lifecycle capabilities within the ServiceNow platform.

The SOMT Developer will work closely with business analysts, architects, implementation consultants, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that streamline sales, quoting, order capture, orchestration, and fulfilment processes. SOMT supports the telecommunications value chain from prospecting and quoting through order fulfilment and post-sales service management.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and develop ServiceNow SOMT applications and modules.
• Design and implement Product Catalog, Commercial Catalog, Product Offerings, and Service Offerings.
• Develop and maintain Order Management workflows and fulfilment orchestration processes.
• Configure Quote Management, Opportunity Management, CPQ, and Order Capture capabilities.
• Develop custom applications using:
  • Client Scripts
  • Business Rules
  • Script Includes
  • UI Actions
  • UI Policies
  • Flow Designer
  • Integration Hub
  • REST/SOAP APIs
• Build integrations with CRM, ERP, OSS/BSS, billing, inventory, and fulfilment systems.
• Support telecommunications service fulfilment and order decomposition processes.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and solution reviews.
• Create technical documentation, test plans, deployment guides, and support documentation.
• Support platform upgrades, release management, and production deployments.

Required Qualifications

1. 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
2. 1+ years of ServiceNow SOMT experience.
3. Strong JavaScript development skills.
4. Experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
5. Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations.
6. Knowledge of telecommunications order management processes.
7. Experience with Service Catalog and Workflow Automation.
8. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

1. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
2. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
3. ServiceNow Telecommunications Industry Experience
4. Knowledge of TM Forum concepts and telecom service lifecycle management
5. Experience with CRM, OSS/BSS, and billing integrations
