Network Administrator Department: Information Technology Employment Type: Full Time Location: Tustin, CA Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 / year Description The Network Administrator is an advanced-level position within the Information Technology Department. The Network Administrator performs all functions related to the company’s technology infrastructure and user support. The Network Administrator focuses on both applying years of technology experience to resolving issues, as well as providing regular input on future infrastructure design and support processes. Key Responsibilities Administer, support, and maintenance of user environment including Microsoft tenant, servers, workstations, printers, VOIP telephones, switches, firewalls, software systems, applications, etc. Creates, monitors, updates, escalates, and resolves help desk tickets appropriately. Maintains communication with users throughout. Proactively identify and correct network issues, bandwidth bottlenecks, etc.to mitigate system outages, monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and present recommendations to management. Consults with management and team members on the technology necessary to implement systems to support and advance the company. Maintain, monitor, and ensure continuous compliance with disaster recovery plans, computer security, antivirus, firewall protections, mortgage industry regulations, etc. Implement, review, and update IT policies, procedures, and network documentation to ensure continuous accuracy and document availability. Perform equipment moves, managing additions and changes, ensuring inventory and asset tracking is accurate. Work with management to accomplish the short‑and long‑term technology strategies of the company. Actively seeks opportunities to cross‑train with other team members. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Advanced knowledge managing Microsoft365 tenants. Knowledge implementing, administering, and troubleshooting Windows Server environments, including HyperV; Cisco and Meraki internetworking platforms.. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid analytical, technical and negotiation skills. Ability to positively project the Company and department. Minimum Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in computer science or related field of study, or high school diploma in addition to equivalent training and experience.
