Automotive Parts ManagerMay Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Automotive Parts Manager to oversee our parts department in Chandler, Oklahoma. This individual will be responsible for maintaining efficient department operations, managing inventory, ensuring timely parts availability, and delivering exceptional customer service.The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, extensive automotive parts knowledge, and experience managing inventory and dealership parts operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily parts department operations, including inventory management, purchasing, and order fulfillment.Coordinate with the service and sales departments to ensure accurate and timely parts availability.Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.Supervise, train, and support parts department personnel to achieve operational and customer service objectives.Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and minimize obsolete and aging inventory.Analyze parts sales, inventory turnover, and departmental performance to identify opportunities for improvement.Ensure departmental compliance with dealership policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.Prepare and review departmental performance reports and communicate findings to dealership management.QualificationsPrevious experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or in a comparable dealership parts management position.Strong understanding of automotive parts operations, inventory management, and dealership processes.Demonstrated leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Experience analyzing inventory, sales performance, and department profitability.Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office applications.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive certifications preferred.Experience with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram parts operations preferred.Compensation and Position DetailsCompetitive contract compensation, based on experience and qualifications.Professional and collaborative working environment.Discounts on vehicle purchases and services, subject to dealership policy.This contract position does not include employer-sponsored health benefits, paid time off, or retirement contributions.About May Chrysler Jeep Dodge RamMay Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and quality vehicles to Chandler, Oklahoma, and surrounding communities.
