Laundry Attendant

Job Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel’s linen supply. Sort laundry prior to washing. Pull damaged and/or stained linen prior to loading the washing machine. Load washers and dryers to recommended weights and follow the proper settings and procedures for all equipment. Monitor water usage to maximize consumption. Inform the supervisor of any equipment failures or supply shortages. Press and fold linens and uniforms properly according to garment labels, stacking or storing them as required. Complete inventory of stock as requested. Coordinate rotation with team members regarding machine use, folding, and placement of linen on carts or in the machine. Adhere to hotel policies and procedures. Maintain knowledge of and comply with all department policies and Covid protocols. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room and equipment. Work the required schedule, which can vary based on business demand. Use equipment and chemicals in accordance with hotel safety procedures. Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety rules and procedures. Generate 100% guest satisfaction by delivering the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates genuine hospitality and exceeds guest expectations. Provide personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork when providing guest service. Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution, and follow through when resolving guest problems. Consistently provide genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis. Observe when a guest is not satisfied and use best judgment for 100% Guest Satisfaction execution. Perform other duties required to deliver brand behavior and genuine hospitality. Qualifications Minimum of one–year hospitality experience in laundry or dry cleaning. Follow instructions and communicate effectively. Work well independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to exceptional guest service. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Physical Demands Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, or otherwise move up to 75 lbs. Use manual dexterity with common office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones.
