This is an exceptional opportunity for a CPA or public accounting professional seeking exposure to SEC reporting, complex technical accounting matters, large-scale finance transformation initiatives, and direct collaboration with senior finance leadership. Responsibilities Play a critical role in the company's transition from IFRS to US GAAP. Research and analyze complex accounting issues and help develop scalable accounting policies and reporting processes. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with evolving accounting and regulatory requirements. Support the preparation and review of SEC filings and external financial statements. Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements. Participate in quarterly and annual reporting cycles, including disclosures and supporting schedules. Serve as a key liaison with internal and external auditors. Prepare technical accounting analyses, documentation, and audit support. Present findings and recommendations to finance leadership and business stakeholders. Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and enhance financial reporting processes. Help standardize reporting practices across a global organization. Contribute to the implementation and optimization of reporting systems, including SAP ECC, SAC, and Tagetik. Research new accounting standards and unusual transactions. Draft technical accounting memos and position papers. Participate in special projects that directly influence the finance organization's evolution. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience. Public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 or large national firm. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience supporting SEC filings is a plus. CPA designation or progress toward CPA strongly preferred. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
