Food and Beverage Manager

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality service, profitability, and compliance with health and safety standards. This role manages staff, vendor relationships, inventory, and the overall guest experience across dining and event service areas. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily F&B operations, including staffing, scheduling, and service quality Recruit, train, and supervise F&B staff (servers, bartenders, kitchen support, concessions) Manage vendor and supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and control food/beverage costs Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and P&L for the F&B department Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations Plan and execute menus, pricing, and promotions in coordination with culinary leadership Maintain inventory controls, minimize waste, and manage ordering/par levels Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly Coordinate F&B service for special events, private functions, and high-volume periods Track KPIs (cost of goods, labor cost %, guest satisfaction) and report to senior management Qualifications 3+ years of experience in food and beverage management (hospitality, restaurant, venue, or event settings) Strong knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and P&L oversight Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) required; alcohol service certification preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days Experience with POS systems and F&B management software Preferred Experience in a stadium, sports venue, or large-scale event environment Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr Fort Lauderdale United FC
