As demand continues to grow, we are looking for motivated, relationship-driven Academic Sales Representatives to join our team. This is not a cold-calling role. Families are already reaching out looking for support. Your role is to build trust, uncover academic needs, guide meaningful conversations, and help families make confident decisions about tutoring services that can positively impact their student's future. What You'll Do Speak with prospective students and families interested in tutoring services Conduct consultative conversations to understand academic challenges, goals, and support needs Build rapport quickly and establish trust through phone, text, and email communication Guide families through the enrollment process and recommend tutoring solutions that align with their needs Confidently discuss pricing, answer questions, and address concerns Follow up with prospective families and help convert initial interest into long-term tutoring partnerships Manage a high volume of inbound leads while maintaining excellent customer experience Accurately document conversations and activities within our CRM Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new families Consistently work toward enrollment goals, KPIs, and performance targets What Success Looks Like Successful Academic Sales Representatives at Learner: Build meaningful relationships while maintaining a strong sense of urgency Ask thoughtful discovery questions and uncover the root needs of students and families Confidently guide conversations toward a decision without being overly aggressive Take ownership of performance metrics and enrollment goals Follow through consistently on commitments and follow-up communication Balance empathy and service with the ability to ask for commitment when appropriate Actively seek coaching and continuously improve their sales approach Who Thrives in This Role You may be a great fit if you: Enjoy building relationships and helping people solve problems Are naturally curious and ask thoughtful questions Are comfortable discussing pricing and asking for commitment Take ownership of your results and enjoy working toward goals Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple conversations happening simultaneously Are coachable and eager to develop professionally Communicate confidently and professionally with a wide variety of people Enjoy being part of a collaborative team while managing your own performance Preferred Backgrounds We welcome candidates from a variety of industries, including: Education sales Student enrollment or admissions Academic advising Tutoring or education services College recruiting Healthcare enrollment Inside sales Insurance sales Membership sales Hospitality and service industries Customer-facing sales environments 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing, enrollment, admissions, recruiting, account management, or sales-focused role Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport quickly Comfortable spending the majority of the workday speaking with families by phone Experience working toward goals, KPIs, quotas, or performance metrics Ability to conduct discovery conversations and recommend solutions based on customer needs Comfortable discussing pricing, handling objections, and guiding prospects toward decisions Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to manage multiple conversations and follow-up tasks simultaneously Experience using CRM systems preferred Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace Bachelor's degree preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 Uncapped commission opportunities Top performers can earn an additional $30,000+ annually through commission Healthcare benefits Unlimited PTO Equity/share options Career growth opportunities within a rapidly growing company Schedule This is a full-time remote position with a set schedule. Available shifts: Tuesday – Saturday | 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET Sunday – Thursday | 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET Please note that Saturday shifts end at 7:00 PM ET.
