Our client is a locally-based fintech company focused on providing payment innovation, transforming bill pay for consumers, billers, and financial technology providers.

This position is HYBRID in Bellevue, WA, 1-3 days a week in office. No sponsorship available for this role.

Job Description

The Opportunity

We're looking for a strategic, data-driven marketing leader to drive consumer growth by optimizing our existing acquisition channels while building the next one.

Reporting to the CEO, you'll lead an experienced marketing team responsible for execution while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to accelerate customer acquisition and engagement. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully scaled established channelsand has personally built new ones.

What You'll Do

• Own and optimize our existing growth channels, including paid search and email marketing.
• Develop and scale our next customer acquisition channel, with social as the leading opportunity.
• Lead corporate marketing, including PR, brand messaging, executive communications, and the corporate website.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to align growth initiatives with product strategy.
• Provide dotted-line leadership for Product Marketing and SEO strategy, ensuring paid, owned, and organic acquisition efforts are aligned. While SEO execution resides within Product, you'll help set priorities and drive a unified growth strategy.
• Use analytics, experimentation, and customer insights to continually improve acquisition, activation, and retention.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years of experience leading growth or performance marketing for a consumer technology company.
• Proven success managing paid search and lifecycle/email marketing.
• Demonstrated experience launching and scaling a new customer acquisition channelnot just optimizing existing ones.
• Experience leading marketing teams and influencing cross-functional partners.
• Strong analytical skills with deep experience using data to drive marketing decisions.
• A collaborative leadership style with the confidence to recognize when specialized expertise is needed and the judgment to bring in the right people.

Success Looks Like

In your first year, you'll strengthen performance across existing channels, successfully launch a new scalable acquisition channel, elevate our corporate marketing presence, and build strong partnerships across Marketing, Product, and Engineering to drive sustainable consumer growth.
