Bookkeeper Assistant - Japanese Bilingual

Position Summary


We are seeking a Japanese-English bilingual accounting professional to support daily accounting operations. This position is open to candidates ranging from Bookkeeper Assistant, Bookkeeper, to Accountant level , depending on experience and qualifications.


Candidates with basic bookkeeping/accounting knowledge, experience handling accounting transactions, and strong Excel skills are highly encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their accounting career within a Japanese business environment.

Pay Rate: Approximately $20-32+/hour DOE (Depending on Experience)


Onsite position only (Monday-Friday). Location: Addison, TX

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices, vendor bills, and payments
• Maintain AP/AR records
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end closing
• Review and maintain accounting records and financial data
• Assist with wire payments and transaction documentation
• Support BS/PL review and account reconciliations
• Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
• Additional accounting responsibilities may be assigned based on experience level

Requirements

• Japanese-English bilingual (business level preferred)
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Understanding of journal entries, Balance Sheet (BS), and Profit & Loss (PL)
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.)
• 1+ year of QuickBooks experience or Nissho Boki Level 3+ with bookkeeping experience

Preferred Qualifications

• AP/AR experience
• Accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related work experience
• Experience supporting Japanese companies or Japanese-speaking stakeholders
• Candidates with Bookkeeper or Accountant-level experience are welcome

7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
