Forklift Operator Warehouse Associate 2nd Shift

Join our dynamic team at our yard in Long Beach United States as a Forklift Driver! Were seeking an efficient and detail-oriented individual to play a crucial role in our daily operations.

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move load and unload materials within the recycling yard
• Accurately sort and organize recyclable materials according to established procedures
• Perform basic maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to supervisors
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and meet daily goals
• Assist with loading dock operations as needed
• Maintain accurate records of materials moved and processed
• Participate in regular safety training and meetings

Qualifications :

• Valid forklift certification preferred but subject to complete a forklift skills assessment. 
• Previous experience as a forklift operator in a recycling or industrial setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items regularly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of recycling industry practices (preferred)
• Loading dock experience (a plus)
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
• Commitment to environmental sustainability and recycling practices

Additional Information :

Pay starts at $19.50/hour DOE
