Job Summary: Responsible for planning and teaching Spanish to kindergarten through 8th grade.

Rate of Pay: $12,500 – $55,000 Salary/year per the Archdiocese of Denver Teacher Pay Scale

Benefits: Part-time employees are not offered benefits other than what is required by law; Worker’s Compensation, FMLA unpaid leave, CO HFWA: 1 Hour of Sick Time per 30 hours worked, CO PMFL

Normal Working Hours: 15-23 Hours per Week during the school year. Schedule of days to be determined.

Reports to: The Pastor, the Principal, and their representatives

Duties:

· Teach, St. Mary School Students the subject of Spanish

· Prepare Lesson plans that meet the Archdiocese of Denver World Language Standards

· Differentiate lessons for students with a Spanish language background

· Maintain an efficient, functional and pleasant leaning environment that sets a high standard of behavior and is consistent and fair to all students

· Support and enforce school-wide policies and rules

· Effectively and respectfully communicate and maintain a positive relationship with parents, students, the Parish community, the principal, and other staff members

· Model an attitude of service

· Be timely with reporting of grades and incidents

· Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor or Principal

Qualifications:

Catholic in Good Standing preferred

Professional Teaching License in Spanish preferred
