Manager, Business Sales

As a Manager, Business Sales at Spectrum, you will manage daily operations, mentor account executives and inspire your team to surpass budgeted sales goals. Your guidance will help deliver outstanding customer experiences and ensure Spectrum remains the trusted choice for communication solutions.How You Will Make an Impact Coach, lead and motivate a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales and performance targets Spend 80% of your time in the field supporting your team and 20% handling office responsibilities and administrative tasks Develop and maintain a comprehensive team territory plan while setting and monitoring individual sales goals using Spectrum’s systems and tools Resolve customer complaints and address issues impacting sales operations to maintain efficiency Organize regular meetings to keep the team informed of tools, process and product updates Recruit, train and coach Account Executives, handling employee relations, performance reviews and ensuring training compliance Oversee daily funnel activity for individual sales representatives, including contacts, presentations and sales Ensure accurate completion of administrative tasks and reporting for all sales activities Maintain detailed knowledge of Spectrum’s product offerings, marketplace trends and competitive landscape, while building positive relationships with customers and partners Working Conditions Office and outside environments Exposure to inclement weather and moderate noise levels What You Will Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field or equivalent experience Experience 5+ years of telecommunications product and services sales experience 5+ years of business-to-business sales management experience Skills Read, write, speak and understand English Experience organizing, implementing and maintaining sales goals Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with a focus on telephone and Internet fundamentals Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record#LI-RW1 SCM565 2026-84086 SCM565 2026 Here, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers. A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.The base pay for this position generally is between $69,000.00 and $136,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
