Middle School Math Teacher

Position Math Teacher – Middle School (Comstock Middle School, 2026-2027 School Year) Salary Dependent on years of teaching experience and certification. Salary starting at $43,905. Will honor 100% of prior full‑time teaching years. Benefits Eligible for Teacher Loan Forgiveness Merit Pay, Sick Day Buyback Program, and Tuition Reimbursement per CEA Contract Certification Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate – Mathematics (Ex) Endorsement Grades 6-12 Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (major in Math preferred) Additional endorsement preferred (e.g., BX, RX, DI, etc.) Meets Highly Qualified standards for Math Proficient in using technology for curriculum integration and reporting Experience working with middle school and at‑risk students Ability to address needs of students at all ability levels Preparation of students for PSAT and MSTEP Experience with differentiated instruction Responsibilities Teach classes in the Math Department and deliver approved curriculum Maintain meaningful positive rapport with students and parents Use technology to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration Create and maintain effective learning environments Perform essential job functions as specified for this position Communicate with parents regarding student progress Participate in professional development and school improvement committees Champion and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion Other duties as assigned by administration EEO Statement We are an equal opportunity employer.
