We're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Auburn, IN and play a key role in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and business insights. About the Role As the Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead month-end close processes, and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards. You'll work closely with leadership to deliver key financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations Lead month-end and year-end close processes Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements Collaborate with auditors during annual audits Manage and mentor junior accounting staff Drive continuous process improvements across finance functions Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Conspicuous by 2x Inferred from the description for this job 401(k) Vision insurance Medical insurance Get notified when a new job is posted.
