Looking for meaningful work supporting kids in your community? Alora Supports is hiring a caring, reliable Direct Support Professional to provide support to kids in their home and out in the community in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a part-time opportunity, with coverage needed sometime between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM on the weekends — shifts don't need to be covered by one staff member, so there's flexibility in the hours and days you work.
ScheduleCoverage needed within an 8:00 AM–9:00 PM window
Exact days/shifts flexible and can be worked out based on availability
Shifts do not need to be covered by a single staff member
Target Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
Transporting kids to and from school
Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
Cleaning up after meals
Engaging kids in activities
Administering medications
Assisting with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, toileting, and changing briefs
Maintaining detailed documentation, including the family's staff log and required Waiver paperwork
Required Certifications
Medication Aide
CPR and First Aid
MANDT
Missing a certification? That's okay! Alora Supports will provide and fully pay for required training.

Experience with kids on the autism spectrum, nonverbal individuals, G-tubes, and seizures is preferred but not required
