Work Environment

The Nurse Practitioner will join a supportive environment under the supervision of our Chief Nurse Practitioner and with guidance from the Medical Director. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cardiologists to manage patients' cardiovascular health, encompassing conditions such as Hypertension and High Cholesterol.
• Administer outpatient Electrophysiology services, managing patients with abnormal electrocardiograms and various arrhythmias.
• Perform detailed patient assessments, including comprehensive histories and physical examinations, followed by appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Oversee the management of acute conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, and Vascular diseases, ensuring timely interventions.
• Conduct various stress tests necessary for accurate patient evaluation and treatment planning.
• Actively engage in consultative sessions with on-site cardiologists for shared decision-making regarding complex cases.
• Prescribe medications and recommend referrals to specialists within the cardiology group when appropriate, ensuring continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and lifestyle modifications to promote heart health.

The Nurse Practitioner will serve a diverse patient demographic from the Bronx, addressing a range of cardiac conditions prevalent in urban populations. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 220,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
