Accounting Manager | Hybrid | Brentwood, TN We're partnering with a well-established healthcare organization to identify an Accounting Manager to join its corporate finance team. What You'll Do Lead key areas of the monthly close process, including preparation and review of corporate and intercompany journal entries. Oversee payroll-related accounting, including payroll journal entries, tax postings, and related reconciliations. Manage fixed asset accounting and other assigned general ledger responsibilities. Review and approve bank and balance sheet account reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Maintain and enhance account reconciliation processes and related systems. Supervise and mentor accounting team members, providing guidance and support for day-to-day operations. Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide financial reporting and analysis as needed. Partner with internal and external auditors to support audit requests and ensure compliance. Help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 2 years of accounting experience within the healthcare industry. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting principles. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data analysis. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
