HR Coordinator

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the Human Resources function. This role is responsible for coordinating recruiting activities, onboarding and offboarding processes, employee records management, HR compliance, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting activities including interview scheduling, candidate communication, job postings, and onboarding.

• Manage pre-employment processes, including background checks, hiring paperwork, offer letters, and new hire orientation.

• Maintain employee records, HRIS data, personnel files, and process employee status changes.

• Support benefits administration, benefits enrollment, and payroll data updates.

• Respond to employee HR-related questions and assist with employee engagement, recognition, and training initiatives.

• Generate HR reports, maintain compliance documentation, and support audits.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and employment regulations while supporting HR projects and process improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• 1-3 years of HR, recruiting, administrative, or related professional experience.

• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stoughton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
