Case Manager- July Job Fair Event

Regional Center of the East Bay is Hosting Two Case Manager Job Fairs! Join our hiring team at one of our upcoming in-person events for the opportunity to interview on-site for our Case Manager role. Job Fair #1 – San Leandro Office Date: Monday, July 27, 2026 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: 500 Davis St., San Leandro, CA 94577 Job Fair #2 – Concord Office Date: Thursday, July 30, 2026 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: 1320 Willow Pass Rd., Concord, CA 94520 (Take elevator to 4th Floor) What to Expect: Qualified candidates will be able to interview on-site during the event. We strive to keep the interview process moving efficiently; please plan to spend approximately 2–3 hours at the Job Fair. Available Start Dates: Successful candidates will begin employment on September 14, 2026 or October 12, 2026 , depending on candidate preference and completion of pre‑employment process. Compensation: All hires without prior Regional Center experience are required to start at the beginning of their salary range. The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is one of 21 Regional Centers that are community‑based, private non‑profit corporations under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services. RCEB provides intake, assessment, diagnosis, and coordinates community‑based services for over 25,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. RCEB envisions a future where persons with developmental disabilities are truly a part of the community. Persons with developmental disabilities receive supports and services they need to succeed. The supports and services change as the need changes. In our dream, children with developmental disabilities live with families in typical communities. Many choose to attend their neighborhood schools and play with neighborhood friends. Adults with developmental disabilities live in the residence of their choice – with family members, with friends, or with their spouse / significant other. They engage in activities of their choice – work, volunteering, education, training, or leisure. They have meaningful relationships with friends and coworkers and are seen as valuable, contributing members of their communities. Key Responsibilities Facilitate the planning process and develop the Individual Program Plan (IPP) or Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) for assigned consumers and oversee the implementation of the IPP/IFSP. Monitor and evaluate the services provided through the plan. Coordinate and support the implementation of the consumer’s plan which may include identifying natural supports and generic services and evaluating when a need exists that can only be met through RCEB authorized funding. Advocate on behalf of consumers to protect their rights under the law and ensure that they receive those services and benefits to which they are entitled. Assist the consumer and family in obtaining essential diagnosis and evaluation from appropriate practitioners and secure written reports and other information which assess and interpret the consumer’s situation. Monitor the consumer’s health and safety. Maintain all documentation and contacts as required by law, regulation and policy. Implement RCEB policies and procedures. Complete, in a timely manner, functional and/or developmental reviews. Keep supervisor informed of the status of the case load and unmet needs in the community. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications BA Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related human services field and 1 year similar experience; OR B.A. in an unrelated human services field plus 4 years of experience working directly with the developmentally disabled. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related human services field. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing. Automobile and valid driver's license required. Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity and an ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations. Spanish fluency is highly preferred and qualifies for a $120 bi‑weekly salary differential.
