Member Services Representative – Claims & Benefits Support

Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Kansas City, MO
Pay: $21/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

What You'll Do

As a Member Services Representative, you'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice members turn to when they need help. You'll:

• Handle 40–50 inbound calls per day as the primary point of contact for members
• Guide callers through disability benefit coverage, benefit extensions, open enrollment, and income tax questions
• Support members through the claims process with empathy and clear communication
• Research and document claims from start to finish
• Verify claim payments and medical updates
• Deliver accurate, detail-oriented service in a fast-paced environment

Training & Schedule

• Training: ~4 weeks, fully remote, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST
• After training: Assigned a shift between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday, based on business needs
• Breaks: Two paid 15-minute breaks daily, plus an unpaid 30-minute lunch
• Work setup: Fully remote during training; on-site just one day per week afterward

Pay & Perks

Good to Know

• This role requires flexibility, as final shift assignments (within the 8 AM–8 PM EST window) are determined by the company
• Time-off requests should be submitted in advance; note that January/February is a peak season with limited flexibility for time off, and no time off can be scheduled during training
