For more information, visit Responsibilities Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), assist by scrubbing procedures and/or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Certified to operate fluoro/pan with Fluoro CA license addendum. Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitor par level of all instruments and supplies. Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. Prepare power injector and contrast medium. Inject contrast during procedures and monitor injector rates/quantity of contrast administered during all procedures. Qualifications Education, Experience, Training ARRT‑R and licenses as required by State. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology; preferred. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire. Proficient computer skills. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
