Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Lutz

Registered Behavior Technician Reports to: Associate Clinical Coordinator, supported by BCBA; position is non-exempt. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental challenges. Supportive work environment focused on employee wellness and career growth. Hours & Scheduling Part‑time hours desired: Monday through Friday and every other Saturday morning (9 AM-1 PM). Clinic hours: 8 AM-6:30 PM Monday through Friday, 9 AM-1 PM Saturday. Shift structures: 8 AM-1 PM and/or 2-6:30 PM weekdays; 9 AM-1 PM Saturdays. Requirements Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred; willing to provide training if not certified. High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred. Experience with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a difference in clients’ lives. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA, including positive reinforcement techniques and data collection. Work one‑on‑one with clients in various settings (homes, schools, community environments). Monitor client progress and adjust strategies as needed while following established protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate records of client behavior and progress. Collaborate with families and other team members to provide consistent support and communication. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current in ABA. Uphold ethical guidelines set forth by the BCBA.
