Financial Analyst

We are seeking experienced Financial Analysts to join our team on a remote contract basis. These professionals will support financial operations by analyzing financial data, reviewing reports, and providing insights to help drive business decisions. The ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analytical problem-solving. Experience with billing, revenue processes, and emerging AI tools is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Analyze financial data and prepare meaningful reports to support business and operational decisions. Review and interpret financial statements and reports, identifying trends, variances, and potential issues. Apply strong general ledger knowledge to support financial analysis and reporting activities. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Assist with billing and revenue-related analysis and reconciliation activities as needed. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency. Utilize analytical tools and technology to streamline reporting and enhance decision-making. Support ad hoc financial projects and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles. Ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements and reports. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3 years experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with billing and revenue accounting or financial operations. Previous experience supporting large organizations or corporate finance teams. Familiarity with AI tools or technologies used to improve financial analysis, reporting, or process automation. Experience with ERP or financial management systems  

salary: $45.95 - $45.96 per hour
