Financial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support a specialized finance team in a fully remote contract role. This position will focus on financial analysis, reporting, and decision support, with a requirement for candidates who have experience in healthcare finance or clinical trial finance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, a solid accounting foundation, and the ability to interpret complex financial data to support business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support business and operational decision-making. Review and interpret financial statements, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Develop financial models and perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial reconciliations, and reporting activities. Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency. Support special projects and other finance-related initiatives as assigned. Required Qualifications 3 years experience in healthcare finance, hospital finance, or clinical trial finance strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements and reports. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications. Familiarity with healthcare financial reporting, research funding, clinical trial budgeting, or related financial operations. Experience working with ERP or financial management systems. Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, grants, or research accounting is a plus.
