This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist based in United States.

The Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist will create and manage engaging content that strengthens brand visibility and supports growth within the cybersecurity market.
This hands-on role covers content ideation, SEO, social media, editorial development, and content repurposing across multiple channels.
You will translate technical topics into clear, compelling content for security professionals and business audiences.
Working closely with subject matter experts and the broader marketing team, you will take projects from initial ideas through publication.
The role combines creativity, strong writing, digital marketing skills, and practical use of AI-powered tools.
You will have significant ownership in a small, fast-moving team with short feedback cycles and opportunities to make a visible impact.
This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity with room to grow as the organization expands.

Accountabilities:

• Write, edit, and publish SEO-focused blog content on a consistent schedule.
• Support the development of long-form assets such as eBooks, guides, and other educational resources in collaboration with subject matter experts and marketing colleagues.
• Draft and help coordinate contributed articles, guest posts, and bylines for relevant industry publications.
• Create, manage, and schedule social media content, with a primary focus on LinkedIn and additional professional channels.
• Assist with visual content creation using tools such as Canva and other design platforms.
• Repurpose existing long-form content into social posts, email copy, summaries, presentations, slides, and other formats.
• Review and edit content produced by freelancers and internal experts to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with the desired brand voice.
• Monitor content and social media performance, report on key results, and recommend improvements based on data and audience engagement.
• Stay current with cybersecurity topics, content trends, social media practices, SEO techniques, and emerging AI tools.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of full-time experience in content marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field; technology or cybersecurity experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in U.S. English, with strong attention to structure, clarity, grammar, and detail.
• Experience using LinkedIn and X as professional communication and content channels.
• Basic graphic design skills, with experience using Canva; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
• Practical experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, including the ability to evaluate, refine, and improve AI-generated content.
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals such as keyword research, meta descriptions, internal linking, and content optimization, or the ability to learn these skills quickly.
• Strong self-motivation, resourcefulness, curiosity, and willingness to learn independently.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple content projects at different stages simultaneously.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and able to incorporate revisions quickly and effectively.
• Experience translating technical information into accessible, engaging content for professional audiences is a plus.
• Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar marketing platform is desirable.
• Light video editing experience, particularly repurposing long-form video into short-form reels, is a plus.
