Talascend is currently seeking a Marketing Communications Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Houston, Texas .

Overview

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to promote products and solutions within the regional or business segment. The role involves overseeing marketing initiatives that enhance product awareness, adoption, and customer engagement, primarily through compelling storytelling and integrated communication plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to bring products and solutions to market through effective launches and communication plans, including media outreach, social media campaigns, email marketing, and thought leadership content.
• Guide, create, and deliver compelling product messaging and content that communicates value to the market, resonates with target audiences, and drives product adoption.
• Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to understand product features, benefits, and target markets to develop effective communication strategies.
• Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product messaging and communication.
• Gain and maintain subsea business knowledge.
• Support Voice of Customer initiatives and programs.
• Foster customer loyalty, satisfaction, retention, and growth through customer marketing and advocacy.
• Collaborate with the communications operations team to measure and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and provide insights for optimization.
• Implement and refine programs to drive marketing impact, collaborating with demand generation, area communications, and sales enablement teams.
• Guide or direct resources within other teams not under direct management control.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of B2B technology marketing and/or communications experience.
• A minimum of three to five years in marketing or communications or similar roles.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Experience in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of public relations and media relations best practices.
• Experience with content management systems and marketing automation platforms.
• Ability to provide examples of go-to-market strategies and programs with measurable impact on revenue.
• Experience in creating marketing campaigns from concept to execution within budget and schedule.
• Proficiency in creating integrated content across digital, social media, paid media, offline, and print channels.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
• Effective influencer skills across a broad range of stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with capability to see the bigger picture and detail-oriented campaign execution.
• Strong process management skills with the ability to self-motivate and prioritize multiple projects.
• Advisory and consultative skills to guide content authors and contributors.

Preferred Qualifications

Shift

This position requires working onsite at Gremp from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, for four days a week.
