Since opening in 2024, Thompson Palm Springs has quickly established itself as the desert’s most coveted lifestyle resort in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Showcasing iconic mid-century modern design, bungalow-inspired accommodations, iconic dining, and vibrant social experiences, the resort has become a sought-after destination for discerning travelers, luxury weddings, milestone celebrations, brand activations, corporate retreats, and high-profile events. As a Seasonal Server Assistant, you will assist the restaurant, lounge and bar operations. You will provide assistance to servers and bartenders in running food and drinks, bussing, and ensure the overall comfort and satisfaction of our guests enjoying the lounge and restaurant. This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $16.90 plus additional gratuity. This is the annual hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education. Qualifications Riverside County’s Food Handler’s Card Must be over the age of 21 Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays Ability to stand for long periods of time Previous experience working in a fast-paced food & beverage establishment is required Previous experience working in a luxury hotel/resort setting is a plus A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
