Position Details:

Location: Warrior, AL

Position Type:

• Permanent and PRN positions available
• Immediate start upon completion of interviews and offer acceptance

Hours:

• Up to 40 hours per week
• Shifts: 7 a.m.-7 p.m. or 7 p.m.-7 a.m. (including weekends as needed)

Salary Range: $22/hr-$24/hr

EMR System Used: SmartCare

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science, CRC, or CRSS preferred (not required).
• Behavioral health experience required (no professional license necessary).
• Minimum one year of direct patient contact experience in alcohol/drug treatment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an understanding of chemical dependency recovery principles.
• Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.

Core Duties:

• Design and implement behavioral treatment plans focusing on coping skills, anger management, and self-regulation.
• Provide crisis intervention and proactive responses to client needs.
• Deliver instruction and support in various environments, including schools, homes, clinics, and community settings.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct luggage and body searches to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor and facilitate book studies and recovery meetings.
• Perform hourly facility rounds, track patient locations, and document appropriately.
• Enforce adherence to the program schedule and ensure patient participation in assigned activities.
• Supervise patient activities and manage evening routines to ensure compliance.
• Administer and monitor medication distribution, ensuring safety and preventing diversion.
• Provide support during meals, medication times, and activities, particularly for patients needing mobility assistance.
• Collaborate with counselors to complete documentation and other support tasks.
• Assist patients in overcoming denial and resistance, guiding them toward treatment milestones.
• Manage and oversee patient communities, addressing behavioral concerns and maintaining shift documentation.
• Participate in staff development and training programs to enhance service delivery.
