Social Media and Content Specialist

Robert Half is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a Social Media and Content Specialist (contract). In this role, you will support the development and execution of digital content and social media strategies that strengthen brand awareness, engage target audiences, and support organizational growth objectives. This role will collaborate with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external partners to develop compelling content across social media, web, email, and other digital channels. This role is hybrid in Austin, Tx. Key ResponsibilitiesManage social media channels and engage with audiences through comments, direct messages, and community interactionsCreate, curate, and publish engaging content across social media, web, email, and other digital platformsResearch audience trends, market insights, and emerging platform features to improve content performanceCollaborate with creative teams, agencies, and vendors to develop multimedia content and campaign assetsDevelop creative briefs and coordinate content production efforts from concept through deliveryMonitor social media performance, engagement metrics, and campaign results, providing recommendations for optimizationReview and ensure content aligns with brand standards, messaging guidelines, and organizational objectivesSupport content calendars, scheduling, publishing, and campaign execution activitiesAssist with content creation at company events, community initiatives, and other organizational activities as neededCoordinate with internal departments to identify stories, testimonials, and content opportunitiesMaintain relationships with external vendors, freelancers, content creators, and marketing partnersContribute to brand-building initiatives and integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channelsTrack project timelines, deliverables, and production schedules to ensure timely completion of marketing initiativesStay current on digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices to continuously improve content effectiveness
