Surgical Technologist

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team, the Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing and maintaining sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures. Anticipates the needs of the surgical team, assists with patient preparation and transport, and supports a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment
• Assist the surgical team during procedures
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs throughout surgery
• Support patient preparation and transport
• Maintain a clean and organized operating room
• Respond to emergency situations following established protocols

Requirements include:

• Minimum 1 year of recent Surgical Technologist experience
• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Previous travel experience
• High School Diploma or GED

Assignment highlights include:

• 13-week contract with extension potential
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12s)
• Call: Once weekly and every 6th weekend
• Department: Clean Room / Operating Room
