As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorization for entry, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Assist with maintaining a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and location-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
