Labor Supplier Management Consultant - Technology, Data & Operations

Job Summary The Labor Supplier Management Consultant is responsible for developing and managing complex and strategic supplier relationships to ensure alignment with Truist's strategic objectives. This role involves leading the supplier management process, including supplier strategy, onboarding and due diligence, ongoing performance monitoring, cost management, and contract utilization. Responsibilities Develop and implement supplier strategies that align with Truist’s overall business objectives. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet strategic needs and compliance requirements. Lead the onboarding and due diligence process, verifying quality, security, and compliance standards. Establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders. Design, enforce, and monitor Service Level Agreements to ensure performance expectations are met. Conduct regular performance reviews and analyze key metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to develop financial plans, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and maximize contract value. Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and enforce regulatory compliance. Work closely with procurement, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure seamless supplier management processes. Lead initiatives to improve supplier management processes, driving innovation and efficiency. Oversee contract negotiation, renewal, and termination, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with Truist’s interests. Prepare and present reports on supplier performance, cost management, and other key metrics to senior leadership. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of supplier engagements, contracts, and performance evaluations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business operations or related professional roles. Strong knowledge of business processes and technology applications. Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office). Preferred Qualifications Banking or financial services experience. Knowledge of Fieldglass, ARIBA, and other supplier management systems. Experience with labor supplier management in onshore/offshore environments.
