Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

• Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments are organized and sterile
• Upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control
• Assisting surgeons and surgical assistants by providing instruments and supplies during procedures
• Proficiently managing surgical equipment throughout the process
• Monitoring inventory and ensuring that the surgical area is ready for each procedure
• Working with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff for cohesive patient care
• Accurately maintaining surgical counts and documentation throughout the procedure

Education Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Certifications Needed:

• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
