The Asphalt Roller Operator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and durable asphalt surfaces by expertly operating the asphalt roller and supporting site activities. This position involves working within a small crew and reporting directly to the Site Supervisor, with opportunities for local and occasional out-of-town travel. It offers growth potential toward supervisory roles within the team.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt roller to compact and smooth asphalt surfaces
• Prepare job sites to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections
• Monitor safety compliance and address hazards promptly
• Handle materials required for roller operation and site maintenance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of asphalt roller operation experience
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with heavy equipment operation
• Strong understanding of safety compliance
• Mechanical awareness for equipment troubleshooting
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Effective communication skills

Pay and Benefits

• Full-Time, W-2 Employment
• Pay: up to $35 an hour, depending on experience
