Social Media Intern to join our Betting Media team to assist in marketing our product, primarily through owning and managing our X (Twitter) presence. It plays a key role in growing our reach, engaging our audience, and executing creative social media strategies. This role is for you if… You live and breathe sports and sports betting. You know the terms, the lines, the trends, and what gets sports fans talking online. You’re an X (Twitter) native. You understand viral culture, memes, algorithms, and real-time social dynamics. You’re a proactive creator. You love spotting trends as they happen and turning them into engaging content quickly. How You’ll Make an Impact Own Content Creation: Create, schedule, and execute sports betting content primarily on our X (Twitter) account. Spot Trends: Identify broader sports betting trends, viral moments, and real-time conversations across sports media. Support the Strategy: Support the social media team in developing strategies to grow our audience and strengthen our overall brand presence. Market the Product: Assist in marketing the Playbook product across social channels to drive audience engagement and reach. The Ideal Profile: Is This You? Sports Betting Knowledge: Familiarity with sports betting terms, markets, and overall betting culture. Social Media Familiarity: Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices, primarily focused on X (Twitter). Sports Media Enthusiast: Familiarity with the sports media landscape and live sports commentary. Schedule Availability: Willingness and availability to work some weeknights and weekends during key sporting events. Please note that you must reside and have the right to work in the U.S. You’ll report to Andrew Basulto , Hiring Manager for the Betting Media & Playbook team. Andrew values creativity, speed, and audience-first thinking, partnering closely with you while giving you the space to express your creative voice on social.
