Summary - Serve as retail sales clerk for the bookstore, provide outstanding customer service and conform to established policies and procedures.

Principal Functional Responsibilities - Bookstore Operations: Assist with Bookstore operations, including providing customer service to faculty, staff, students and other patrons; preparing books and merchandise for resale including loading and unloading boxes, bar-coding, pricing, shelving and preparing merchandise displays and sales flyers; operating point-of-sale system; balancing cash register drawer and verifying cash on hand; preparing deposits and daily cash register reports; following established policies and procedures; and performing general office duties. Miscellaneous Duties: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, order, and professional appearance of the bookstore. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
