This position is crucial in facilitating a smooth transfer of duties from the current Speech-Language Pathologist, ensuring continuity in care and services for students.

Responsibilities include conducting IEP assessments, implementing individualized therapy sessions, tracking progress, and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families. Your work will help students enhance their communication skills and fully access educational opportunities.

Your week will follow a Monday through Friday schedule, offering 37.5 working hours in total. You'll serve a diverse elementary student population located near Huntington Beach and Inglewood, participating as a key member of a dedicated school team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience working in a school setting with elementary-aged children
• Knowledge of IEP processes, compliance, and best practices in assessment and intervention
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage and adapt caseload as needed

Your day-to-day will include:

• Conducting thorough speech and language assessments related to IEP requirements
• Designing and delivering individualized and group interventions
• Collaborating with educators and participating in IEP meetings
• Supporting a seamless transition as duties are transferred from the current SLP
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
