Part-Time | Established Patient Base | Flexible Additional Day

Schedule

We are seeking a part-time General Dentist for a consistent schedule with the opportunity to add an additional weekday.

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Every Other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Additional Day Available: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

The practice is flexible regarding the additional weekday based on provider availability. Mondays are not available.

This 5-operatory practice provides an excellent environment for a General Dentist who values clinical autonomy and enjoys practicing comprehensive dentistry. One dentist is scheduled in the practice each day, allowing the provider to take ownership of the patient experience while still benefiting from the resources and infrastructure of a larger organization.

The practice also has two Registered Dental Hygienists scheduled each day , providing consistent hygiene-driven patient flow and opportunities for comprehensive examinations and restorative treatment.

The office is equipped with modern dental technology, including:

• Panoramic imaging.
• TRIOS digital scanner.
• NOMAD handheld X-ray technology.
• WaveOne endodontic system.
• Implant motor.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a part-time General Dentist to join our Plainview practice and take over an established patient schedule.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable practicing independently as the dentist in the office for the day and will possess strong diagnostic, treatment-planning, and patient communication skills.

Experienced dentists are strongly preferred , particularly providers who can confidently step into an existing patient base and maintain continuity of care. However, we are also open to considering a motivated newer dentist who demonstrates strong clinical fundamentals, sound judgment, and a commitment to continued professional growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist seeking a predictable part-time schedule with the option to add another weekday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency care.
• Perform comprehensive examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate diagnoses and treatment recommendations to patients.
• Collaborate closely with the hygiene team to identify treatment needs and provide continuity of care.
• Utilize TRIOS scanning, panoramic imaging, and other available technology to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide endodontic and implant-related care within the provider's training and comfort level.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with patients.
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality, professionalism, ethics, and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active New York dental license in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred .
• Strong diagnostic and comprehensive treatment-planning skills.
• Comfortable working independently as the scheduled dentist in the practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered dentistry.
• Qualified newer dentists with strong clinical fundamentals will also be considered.
