Diverse Staffing is hiring Warehouse Material Handlers for a distribution and warehouse facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy active work, material movement, inventory tracking, and supporting warehouse operations.

As a Material Handler, you will move materials throughout the facility, assist with shipping and receiving, maintain inventory accuracy, and help keep warehouse operations running efficiently.

Job Duties

• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pick and deliver materials, supplies, and products to designated locations.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.
• Scan, count, and track inventory accurately.
• Operate pallet jacks and material-handling equipment safely.
• Inspect materials for damage and report inventory discrepancies.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to safely move and handle materials throughout the workday.
• Ability to accurately count, scan, and track inventory.
• Ability to follow warehouse safety procedures and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Previous material handling experience.
• Experience using RF scanners.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
• Experience operating pallet jacks or similar equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements.
• Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and moving materials.

Work Environment

• Warehouse and distribution environment.
• Fast-paced work setting.
• Frequent material movement throughout the shift.
• Moderate warehouse noise levels.
• PPE may be required based on work area.
• Regular walking and inventory handling activities.

Schedule & Attendance Expectations

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
