Assistant Professor, Clinical Educator - Department of Surgery

Essential Functions (Job Duties) Teaching general surgery residents and WSU ILL and WSU IV medical students. Serving on resident and student committees. Conducting research with students, residents, and fellows. Participating in departmental teaching programs for medical students, residents, and fellows. Engaging in scholarly activities including research opportunities. Participating in administrative and committee activities within the Department of Surgery. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Board Certified M.D. degree Valid Michigan medical license Commitment to academic medicine Rank commensurate with credentials Employment Type Regular Employee Fractional Time Academic/Faculty University policy requires certain persons who are offered employment to undergo a background check, including a criminal history check, before starting work.
