Key Responsibilities Complete work assignments by utilizing company policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities and deadlines; carry out tasks; communicate progress; and recommend improvements. Manage freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, lift pacers); identify, count, separate, combine, and scan freight; use warehouse management systems, terminal scales, and scanners; and maintain accurate records and logs. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy in daily business practices. Keep work areas organized and maintain freight flow by stacking and moving empty pallets using manual or powered equipment. Monitor freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.
