Step into a contract opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in the vibrant Sugar Land, TX area. This role offers a chance to serve across 2-3 schools, with a central office as your primary hub, and runs through 5/26/27. The district emphasizes a progressive workload approach, giving you the ability to make a meaningful impact while maintaining balance.

You’ll play an instrumental part in students’ growth and communication development, all while working collaboratively and potentially supervising a skilled SLPA. Flexibility is woven into the fabric of this role—enjoy at least one guaranteed remote work day per week, with potential for more based on fit and need.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC) required
• Experience in school settings highly desired
• Strong knowledge of varied communication disorders
• Comfortable with a workload model and supporting broad student needs
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor an SLPA
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct services for students with communication challenges
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Manage documentation and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) efficiently
• Provide supervision to an SLPA, offering guidance and insight
• Adapt services for both in-person and hybrid/remote formats as required
• Participate in professional development and school-based teams
