We are partnering with a rapidly growing company to identify a Technical Sales Representative supporting data center infrastructure , including cooling systems, fluid handling, and mechanical components critical to data center operations .

This role combines hands-on technical work with customer-facing sales , offering the opportunity to travel to trade shows and client sites , build relationships in the field, and contribute to one of the fastest-growing sectors in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Mechanical Support

• Perform basic valve maintenance, including seats, seals, and components
• Assist with troubleshooting and product support
• Use hand tools for light assembly and service work
• Develop knowledge of flow control systems used in data center cooling and infrastructure

Sales & Business Development

• Visit customers, contractors, and distributors supporting data center projects
• Develop new business within data center construction and operations
• Build long-term relationships with engineers, buyers, and operations teams
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities tied to data center expansion

Trade Shows & Industry Events

• Represent the company at industry trade shows and events
• Support booth setup, product demonstrations, and customer engagement
• Generate and follow up on new leads
• Travel to meet customers and expand market presence

Account Management & Inside Sales

• Prepare quotes, process orders, and support customer needs
• Respond to technical and product inquiries
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
• Manage pipeline and activity through CRM

Qualifications

• Background in HVAC, mechanical systems, piping, valves, or related fields used in cooling or fluid systems
• Hands-on experience working with tools and mechanical components
• Interest in or experience with technical or industrial sales
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work in both office and field environments
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and trade shows
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred:

• Experience supporting data center infrastructure, cooling systems, or fluid handling applications
• Familiarity with valves, pumps, piping, or related mechanical systems
• 1–3+ years of experience in sales, technical support, or industrial environments
