Job Summary:
As a Line Cook at Waynesborough Country Club you will play a vital role in preparing and executing dishes to the highest standards of quality consistency and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced high-energy kitchen environment ensuring that every dish is prepared efficiently and meets our exacting standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional kitchen a passion for cooking and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen staff including sous chefs prep cooks and dishwashers.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or issues to the kitchen manager or executive chef.
• Maintain high standards of food quality taste and presentation.
• Assist in the preparation of daily specials and seasonal menu items.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Participate in regular kitchen meetings and training to maintain and improve cooking skills.
• Assist in the setup breakdown and cleaning of the kitchen as needed.
