Overview Job Title: Specialist, Regional Therapy. Role Level: Individual Contributor. Supervisor/Manager Title: Area Sales Director, East. Job Location & Environment: Field-based role requiring travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities within the assigned territory. Job Description Summary: Works collaboratively with Territory Sales Manager to develop and support the AR market by acting as the education and therapy, disease state and product awareness point person with the implanting center MDs and staff but having most of their focus and engagement with the Referring MDs as identified by the TSM and implanting Center MDs. This role will also engage in supporting awareness activities with family practice MDs, patients, and their families, and lead all efforts to foster best practices for AR patient identification, selection, and timing. This role will support from 3-5 TSMs but focused on 1-2 targeted accounts per TSM in each assigned territory. Responsibilities Supports JVT product implant including pre case imaging review, valve preparation, loading sizing and placement. Represents JenaValve to both implanting and referring MDs and supporting medical professionals in disease state, product and therapy advocacy, awareness and education, training and other related and supporting activities. Delivers product and therapy education and training with physicians on-site in hospitals to encourage best practice use of JenaValve devices in the treatment of aortic valve disease. Provides workshops and presentations to disseminate TAVR for AR awareness and patient identification and flow best practices supported by data provided by Sales Ops and marketing. Provides physicians and medical staff with continuous education and technical support related to all aspects of therapy and disease state awareness while anticipating and foreseeing obstacles and planning accordingly for smooth execution. Advocates with clinicians to uncover other opportunities to expand the use of JenaValve products. Works collaboratively with TSM, and aligns with TSM on targeting, tactical approach and engagement plans as to align with implanting center plans. Also works collaboratively with marketing, sales ops and the Clinical Team to insure alignment and synergy in activities. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of aortic valve disease and treatment and develops tactical and engagement tools proactively. Gathers feedback and clinical information from the field and provides input to R&D product development group. Develops and maintains professional, high-quality, physician relationships. Travel 40-50%. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of previous (related) medical device development and/or structural heart experience in an acute care environment required. Minimum of 2 years Experience in market and or therapy development for SH or Interventional Cardiology products required. Experience working a cross-functional team in a commercial setting preferred. Vascular procedural knowledge required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills required. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills required. Ability to perform in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment required. Bachelor’s degree required with marketing or science related degree preferred. Experience in conference oral presentations and authorship of scientific peer-reviewed publications preferred. Expertise in MS Office Suite required. Skills And Abilities Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills are essential.
