We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our financial records with exceptional accuracy and integrity. This role is crucial to supporting the financial health of our organisation, enabling us to continue our mission of promoting healthier air standards through expert testing, assessment, and environmental solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the company's day-to-day financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Process supplier invoices, client payments, and staff expense claims in a timely manner.
• Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced.
• Prepare and maintain key financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow forecasts.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Maintain an organised and accessible system of financial documentation.
• Liaise with our external accountants to support year-end reporting and tax preparation.

• Proven professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a comparable accounting role.
• A strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and best accounting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Excellent numerical skills and an exceptional eye for detail.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
• A relevant qualification in accounting or bookkeeping is highly desirable.
