Director of Engineering

Pyramid Global Hospitality is looking for a Director of Engineering to oversee maintenance operations at the La Quinta Resort & Club. Responsibilities Responds to guest maintenance requests and resolves issues efficiently. Oversees the hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of engineering staff. Directs and supervises engineering staff, setting work schedules based on skill and workload. Manages engineering supplies, parts, inventory, and purchase orders. Coordinates with outside contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities. Participates in budget analysis, capital planning, and monitoring of engineering costs. Maintains organized administrative systems for correspondence, reports, and requisitions. Serves as a member of the Executive Committee and responds to hotel emergencies. Engages with team members to foster a proactive and customer‑focused environment. Qualifications Strong background in hotel/resort maintenance and engineering operations. Experience leading a maintenance program and team. Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills. Strong organizational and communication skills.
